Attachments

I have a very old standby computer with Windows ME and Office 2000, but I
only use this computer when my main one is out of action.

Recently I had to use it and noticed that I cannot open any attachments to
emails.

What and from where should I install software that would open the
attachments in Windows ME?

While in OE click on Tools/Options/Security and see if the box for "Do not
allow attachments ------ is checked this is a security feature of OE6

which mail reader do you use
for outlook or outlook express 6 go and uncheck "do not allow..." in
tools/options/security
ps : there are NGs for OE and Outlook
