I was attempting to use the address book that comes with
the accesories group under windows ME. to do a mail merge.
I attempted that manuever and was told I could not use it
to do a mail merge. When I cancelled the transaction, my
entire "contacts" directory was somehow lost. When I quit
word and simply went to the address book, it showed an old
contacts list which I was sure I deleted.
I thought maybe my valid list was somehow tossed into the
re-cycle bin, but no, it's not there either.
HELP, any suggestions?
