I found the following programs on my PC. Does anyone recognize what they
are? "Inter Video Win DVD" (We don't have a DVD on our PC) and "PAD Lookups
by n-Case". Thanks!

The PAD Lookups by n-Case is spyware/adware.....something you don't want on
your machine. Do a Google search for "PAD lookups" and you will find a
number of hits that will tell you how to rid yourself of it. Also, get
yourself a copy of Spybot S&D, Adaware6 or similar (free).....they should
take care of these kinds of pests. The Adaptec UDF is simply a program to
enable your CD drive to read UDF format cd's. The Inter Video Win DVD, I
beleive to be a legit program, but, not sure of it's need if you don't have
a DVD drive....once again, doing a Google search on these items renders a
lot of info. Hope that helps.

"Heirloom": I checked and apparently Adaware had removed this program
already although it was still listed in my programs. I removed the listing.
Again, thank you. Ken

Glad to have been of some assistance. Just remember the Google....I rely
heavily on it for info. While I am on the subject, here are some sites that
will tell you what you need at startup and what is fluff. You can often
determine 'good or bad', using these sites. Best wishes.
