My WinME computer seems not to have activex capability. Can it be downloaded?
I can't access optonline.net speed check with Internet Explorer. All the
script and activex boxes are checked in the Advanced tab in Internet Options in
Internet Explorer, but a search for folders and files comes up empty for
activex. A free download of Netscape 7.2m lets me get to the speed check, but
IE 6.0.2800.1106 just doesn't load the Java app that runs it. Any suggestions
very welcome...

Load Sun Java for IE from the Java Plug-in located in the Control Panel,
Java Plug-in, click the Browser tab, make sure IE is checked, click
Apply. Close the plug-in.
Open Internet Options in the Control Panel. Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Java[Sun] listing and make sure it's chosen. Click
Apply, then OK.
