Whenever I try to delete any file I get "access denied,
source file in use" error. I tried Microsoft's recommended
solution (switch to classic folders view, then try to
delete the large image file causing the problem), but it
didn't work. Firstly, I'm not sure which image file is the
problem, all I know is that it is most likely a temporary
internet file. I have run virus scans, and no virus
problems exist. No dll issues either.

Any help is much appreciated.

I've been having the same problem (access denied), with the SoBig
worm. I have to boot (with the startup disc), to the DOS prompt,
navigate to the folder, then use the DEL command on its contents.
Before using the DEL command temporarily move any files you don't want
deleted to another location, then return them.
