Windows Millennium Edition is the last of the 9x series of Operating Systems
(that began with Windows 95). Windows 2000 is an edition of the NT series of
Operating Systems and not the same thing at all (Windows NT 4.0 preceded
Windows 2000, which is NT 5.0. Windows XP is NT 5.1). The two are
incompatible. Luckily you usually can't install an update intended for 2000
on ME, because if you did it would almost certainly cause problems.
