ME

I have windows Me. When I'm on it for more than 15 minutes
the mouse does not work correct. It moves slow. The
programs are slow to open.When I do a control alt delete
the mouse works fine until I cancel the control alt
delete. It goes back to moving slow. Same thing on the
internet. Tried scandisk/defrag/fixit utilities nothing
works Help!

It sounds like something is running in background and slowing the system
down.
You may be able to use task manager to kill the background programs
temporarily.
MSConfig can be used to prevent loading of many such programs.
Improper mouse operation can also be a symptom of problems in the video
driver and DX software.
One possible solution is to lower video and audio acceleration.
It's also possible that you are short on HD free space.
