Mr. Saunders,
I don't know why, but for some reason I always had problems with the
BOINC client on my Vista machine and finally decided to permanently
uninstall it. I had no problems whatsoever with the World Community Grid
client and ran it successfully on XP for years and successfully on Vista
until WCG decided to integrate it with BOINC.
I hated to quit supporting WCG. Nevertheless, I found that BOINC wasn't
worth the trouble.
