Hi All,

Is this true behaviour of Vista that if one user got infected with
malware/virus it don't propagate on the rest of the users?

I already fixed two vista computer with the same behaviour, the other users
are not infected.

Thanks in advance,
RickyVener

Not necessarily. Vista does make it a helluva lot harder for walware to
spread in that fashion, but those user accounts are not 100% immune. I'd
suggest installing a good anti-virus program (Avast! is free, and it
really does the job well), and then performing a full system scan from
within each of the user accounts on the system.

It depends on with what malware/viruses the computer is infected.

You still are running DOS? Better catch that ambulance!

Then you should always pull over and give the right-of-way.

Hey Tom

How do you change the indent character from ">" to ":" - - I used to know
but can't find in Mail or Live Mail.

Thanks

Best thing to do is run a AV on it.

It is also possible it is Vista itself. Some people, including myself have
had performance problems due to the OS Vista and not malware.

I'm such a pig - I meant to say under the Send tab. They were more concerned
than anything, in developing WinMail, with removing OE's instability, which
could unrecoverably obliterate OE's message store unless you were able to
restore a clone you'd made. That's fixed. Since they now have a focus on web
services, WLM may be a better bet than WinMail.
