You never seem to read anything good about Microsoft, so here goes. I have 2
computers. 1 is a new one with vista home premium. The other is old with xp.
I have only been fooling with computers for a year since I retired. I have
gotten all the updates and sps that are out. I have had no major problems
with either system. I just thought we should hear something once in a while.
thanks

Your experience is not unique. The VAST majority of Vista users (and XP and
ME and 98 and Win2000), have no problems with it.

You only see in here the tiny percentage that do have problems, and of
course, the Linux trolls.

So what you're saying in Microsoft always invests huge amounts of time
and manpower to hurry out a Service Pack to FIX ERRORS you claim most
people don't have which is Microsoft's legacy going all the way back
to the beginning. Sure pal, sure. I'll buy that. Say, can you make
change for my three dollar bill?

You haven't seen any major problems because you just admitted you've
only been "fooling with computers for a year".

Well I've been "fooling" with computers for better than forty years
and I've seen nearly every dumb, stupid, reckless, careless, half-ass,
moronic, crazy thing Windows does. Some are real doozies too.

Here's a few classics:

http://www.aardvarkarchie.com/pictures/work/work033.htm

http://www.thehumorarchives.com/joke/Windows_Error_Messages

Those were mostly spoofs, but the dummies at Redmond have made some
truly senseless error messages of their own like:

"keyboard not working, press F1 to continue"

Or if you even get in a run away situation where dumb as dirt Vista
will open one instance of the same application right after another
which is easy to do if you tell your newsreader to download and view
say 50 image files in one gulp. Vista being really stupid with open 50
instances of Image Viewer and likely eat up all your resources.

Something like this happens:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=sYiZKLPj2Fo&feature=related

Of course it is nothing new. Lets go back 10 years:

Even Billy Gates has problems running Windows:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDtniZcoFAw&feature=related

You know Frank always takes whatever Bill Gates says as gospel.

Listen carefully Frank:

Hey dipshit...for some reason you equate those of us who have
successfully installed, configured and run Vista as being
'fanboys'...whatever in the fukk that means...and you, being the stupid
ignorant piece of shit you are, think it means that everyone who has
successfully installed, configured and runs Vista (that's more than 150+
million btw, you idiot)are somehow 'fanboys's. Grow you demented
delusional piece of shit...it's only software you idiot moron
loser...and this is a PEER TO PEER NEWS GROUP ASSHOLE!
This is not a direct pipeline to Microsoft HQ in Redmond. Duh!!! I bet
that comes as a big surprise to a jackass loser like you!
Hey dipshit...we pay to use as many seats of Vista and MS Office as we
want. They don't pay us. I personally participate in as many Microsoft
beta programs as I have the time and desire to do, but I sign on the
front of my checks. they are not signed by Microsoft.
You are stupid because you bash MS and haven't figured out as of yet
that this is a PEER TO PEER NG! You are not talking to Microsoft you
dimwitted moron!
Oh do I let Microsoft know when I don't like something and they do get
the message. I just don't air dirty laundry in public. It's a sign of
real stupidity.
Now you think MS blocking messages in this ng is a concern of mine?
You are that dumb aren't you? I post here only what I think the public

Again the idiot Frank confirms WHY he is a moron. Priceless.
Yes Frank, Vista is only software. So why do screw ups like you whine,
snarl and bark like a rabid dog when people having problems with Vista
discuss their problems WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO, here in this
so-called "support" newsgroup? One of the great mysteries of the
universe. No, not really, just confirmation you're a total putz,
retard and hot headed little no nothing asshole.

>I personally participate in as many Microsoft
>beta programs as I have the time and desire to do, but I sign on the

Well lets analyze what you said. If true, what does that say about
Microsoft if they allow some foaming from the mouth, obviously
mentally disturbed, foul mouth little rodents like YOU to be part of
their beta testing? Actually it speaks volumes and explains why Vista
is so screwed up. Vista is "tested" by idiots like Frank. No wonder it
is buggy as hell.

>You are stupid because you bash MS and haven't figured out as of yet

Well doofus, it is clearly you that has no concept of what peer to
peer means, you blabbering buffoon. You and other fanboys fancy this
newsgroup as a fan club and you're one of the main cheerleaders.

You listening Frank? This group and others like it are offered by
Microsoft for one reason and one only. Microsoft is TOO DAMN LAZY,
CHEAP AND INCOMPTENT to provide its customers with real support with
actual qualified employees to field questions and give answers.
Another reason they don't if they did Microsoft would hurt their
bottom line and really cut into their profits. Vista and all the other
Microsoft products are so damn buggy they would need to hire tens of
thousands of support people to handle the deluge of inquires and
complaints. Then the cost of toll free phone lines to reach these
support people would be overwhelming.

>Oh do I let Microsoft know when I don't like something and they do get

It is not nice to talk about your wife that way. Whah you do not have

The dipshit Frank didn't get it the first time. Let's try again:

Yes, Frank is everyone's favorite fool. Frank is actually very easy to
figure out. He's just some insecure self-loathing nobody that craves
attention. Good or bad Frank doesn't care as long as he's noticed. He
has delusions of grandeur often trying to project himself as good
looking, wealthy and clever. He pretends to run a business some days,
claims multiple businesses other days. For some odd reason Frank
thinks you want to share in his hallucinations which he repeats
constantly. Frank is also proud of several strange sexual perversions
having an unhealthy obsession with sheep and other barnyard animals.

Frank spends a disproportional amount of his days, nights, weekends,
holidays goofing off in this newsgroup because he is what most would
imagine a loser to be having little if any social interaction with
others. His life revolves around this newsgroup. Without it Frank
would probably fall into a deep depression and likely hurt himself or
torture small fury animals. Frank mostly is harmless. A total doofus
and Putz. While Frank snarls, growls and loves to bluster. he's
actually very insecure and timid.

Frank's real problem began long ago when he developed a Don Quixote
complex where he takes up causes fighting imaginary enemies much as
the wannabe knight did in the 1604 novel titled "The Ingenious Knight
of La Mancha" where the main character of the story would chase after
windmills, fancy them being giants and say he was off to slay them for
the good of the community and of course to receive lavish praise for
his efforts. Frank plays that role in this newsgroup by always coming
to the defense of Microsoft and MVPs and is actually dumb enough to
think they appreciate his constant blustering on their behalf. Of
course most everyone sees Frank as just a troublemaker, lout, blowhard
and Microsoft apologist.

Frank automatically attacks anyone if they mention problems with
Vista. Frank thinks it is his job to spread lies and insults and will
try to chase anyone out of this group if they don't worship Microsoft
like Frank does. Frank has the silly notion that this newsgroup should
serve as a fan club for Microsoft. If you don't cheer, Frank is on the
case and will try to insult you or tell you to leave. Frank fancies
himself chief hall monitor. The reality is Frank is a Net Nazi and
tries to impose his own half-ass rules of what are and aren't proper
topics to be discussed.

Frank being dimwitted has a small bag of taunts he repeatedly uses
over and over. Original thought is totally foreign to this imbecile.
If someone slams Frank with a crafty insult bet the farm Frank will
steal it word for word and claim it has his own a couple days later.

Frank's favorite lie is pretending anyone experiencing problems with
Vista hasn't installed it correctly. Frank totally ignores all the
admissions Microsoft itself has made about the shortcoming of Vista.
Frank doesn't want to hear about that.

Frank will depending on his memory say he has anywhere between 9 and
17 computers running Vista for his company (companies). Rarely does a
week go by that this number of mythical machines gets changed. You
can't blame Frank for that, he just don't remember his last lie often
ending up with his foot stuck in his mouth.

Frank has told us he has sold his business, is selling his business,
will sell his business, runs his business, isn't involved with running
his business. He's retried, will retire, is semi-retired, he enjoys
working and isn't planning on retiring. Take your pick. Again, Frank
just don't remember what his lie was the last time.

Ask Frank what the name of this "business" is and Frank clams up. I
don't have add why. Frank is such a phony but in Frank's fantasy world
he sees himself as clever.

Next most popular tactic is Frank resorting to calling people liars,
drunks, accusing them of odd sexual behavior (Frank is obsessed with
sheep) and his frequent use of Cap'n Crunch, a silly cartoon character
used by Quaker Oats to promote one of their cereals. Again this is
revealing of Frank's true nature since the commercials run on Saturday
mornings and are designed for children under ten. Far below the mental
age of Frank who's mental age is closer to six or seven.

The reality about Frank is this goofball is a complete idiot which he
is more than willing to confirm over and over again. He constantly
gets caught in his web of lies, he often accuses others for
shortcomings he exhibits himself.

Frank is really nothing special. Most popular newsgroups have one or
more of their own screw-ups that like Frank spend their time
daydreaming and in general being an obnoxious pest. They crave the
attention. That is why they do it.

You can get a truer understanding of what Frank is all about by just
flipping his comments about himself 180 degrees. Frank claims he's
handsome, so he's probably one ugly SOB. Frank claims he's rich, so he
likely don't have a pot to piss in. Frank says he has property all
over France. Likely he's never left the country. Frank above all else
is a fraud. A raving phony. Nothing more than a loud, always boastful
loser looking for attention to fill his hours while he waits for the
Grim Reaper to end his misery.

Sure, it is probably best to just ignore morons like Frank, but it is
also fun to wind up him and get him sputtering and spinning around
like a top which is way too easy to accomplish because Frank is
several cuts below your average troll, knows next to nothing about the
topics he badly fakes being expert at and because of it is
entertaining in his own sick way. Rarely will you find anyone making a
bigger ass of themselves day after day. That job Frank excels at.
