Sorry for the dumb question. I bought my computer a few weeks ago and I can't
find the information anywhere. It just says I'm running Home Premium but
doesn't mention if it has SP1 or not. Windows updates haven't said it needs
downloading so does this mean it already has SP1? Is there a way to find out?

Start, Control Panel, System & Maintenance, System

It should tell you near the top of the screen if SP1 is installed

When you right click computer and select properties, in the Windows edition
section it will say Service Pack 1. At least that's what it says on my
version.

Go to the Windows Orb (Start) type winver and press Enter.

If SP1 is installed it will display â??Version 6.0 (Build 6001: Service Pack
1)â??.

Yep, that's the quickest and easiest way to see what version of Windows you
are running.
