It's not Vista checking the disc in the drive. At that particula
stage, Vista hasn't even started yet! The BIOS has detected a DVD in th
drive, and is checking it for a valid CDROM/DVDROM bootsector for i
case the boot fails from HDD (which is first in your boot order)
