I'm learning to use Vista (new computer purchased yesterday) and my old PC
has XP and Office 2003. I only use the calendar feature of Outlook and was
wondering if there's a way to import my outlook file (outlook.pst) to Vista
Calendar (seems to only import .ics files) as I don't yet have Outlook 2007
installed on my Vista PC.

In order to Import/Export OL data to Mail they both have to be set up on the
same PC.
You maybe can export your Calendar data to a format that Mail can import, eg
csv

Try uploading your calendar to office.online.com and then when you get
Outlook installed, you'll be able to import it from there.

What is "Mail"? I'm trying to import into Calendar - is this the same as
"Mail"? CSV doesn't work either, I tried that.

Thanks!

There's a way..... but it's not easy.
Windows Calendar can only import .ics (not .csv or .pst)
Outlook can't export .ics

Here's what I did....
In Outlook 2003, export to a CSV file.
Went to my calendar on Gmail.com
import the CSV file to Google calendar
export to .ics file (had to use help for these two steps, as it's not
straightforward)

Windows Calendar:
import the .ics file
