I have a 3 month old Dell XPS 420 Desk Top at home, with Vista Home
Premium. The only users are the wife and I and we are both
administrators. For a couple of months now we have been unable to access
the Power Options. Windows tells us "Your Power Plan Isnt Available".
When I look under Help, the following message appears;

"Some of your power management settings, or the registry keys that are
associated with those settings, have been deleted or corrupted. For more
information, contact your 'system administrator'
(mshelp://windows/?id=5122fb88-217f-4206-8cf4-0a3b64e54873#gtmt_system_administrator_def).
Also, your system administrator may have changed the user rights that
are associated with the plans and the power settings that make up those
plans"

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks
