If Sony says they will not support Vista for their older cameras and the XP
driver doesn't work in Vista, make sure you keep your computer with XP on it
in good working condition or buy a new camera. Now, IIRC, almost all Sony
DV cameras have IEEE 1394 Firewire (called i.Link on Sony cameras) which
don't need any Sony drivers as the Firewire drivers are built into Vista and
the transfer to the computer from the camera is much better. A cheap
interface card (if your computer doesn't already have a port) with the Vista
OS and you should be set. Read the operating and connection manual for your
camera for further information.
