Super Antispyware program produces an advert logo at startup, which remains
on my screen for quite a while, during which it not easy to do other things
with the PC. Having taken my money with a promise that this fault will be
corrected with a new version due out in April last Antispyware are not
replying to my complaints on this issue. Is there a way of removing the
Advert logo at startup?

I'd uninstall it, and use Programs listed below:

http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program.
Download, install, update, and immunize your System with it.
Then SCAN with it.
Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight.

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

SpywareBlaster 4.1 is a non-intrusive, FREE Anti-Spyware Program that runs
in the background (no scanning by you!).
SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of many so-called spyware, adware
and malware programs by disabling the CLSIDs of popular spyware ActiveX
controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage
Update it once a fortnight, and let it do its work in the background!

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Malwarebytes is as the name says, a Malware Remover!
For the Free version scroll down their page to either download from
Download.com, or Major Geeks.com

Download, install, and update.

No, it is a model dialog box that you cannot move (no grab handles) or close
(no close buttons) etc.
Many applications pop up a startup "screen" such as this, just start
Microsoft Word for example - of course they remove themselves as soon as
possible (well actually when the programmer thought it was time for them to
go).
So you application is just written to be deliberately annoying. If you
don;to like it choose another product.
There are plenty of other free and paid for similar products out there.

That would be up to the folks at Super Antispyware to fix - it's their
program creating the logo, not Vista. Alternatively you could uninstall the
product.

Hi,

It sometimes helps to append the startup line with -nosplash, but not all
programs will heed it. As others have indicated, the ultimate fix has to
come from the program vendor.

Are you referring to the splash screen? If so, right-click on the Super
icon, select "View
Control Center," and on that screen, deselect "Show splash screen on
start up."

Uninstall the clearly defective and apparently unsupported software,
and use one of the many free (and superior) alternatives.
