I have a notebook for over 3 years with window xp professional installed. I
haven't use the notebook for a short while but when I return to use it, I
couldn't login. I think I have forgotten the password. How can I reset
password without login in?

Boot to Safe Mode (F8 on restart) and use the default Administrator account
with a blank password, to change the password for that account. (Or create a
new account)

Thank you for answering my question but I have also changed the administrator
password which I don't remember. Is there anyother way to login?

Clueless...
Coincidentally I just posted to this newsgroup a response to a user who is
apparently having a similar problem as yours. Take a look at it and see if
it helps. The subject of the thread is "Re: Password problems.."
