Hi

i am trying to connect a projector to my dual boot laptop which has windows
xp and windows vista
I can get a display of the projector when i connect it to the windows vista
by prsssing the Fn key + F5 which gives me an option to get display on
projector and laptop or just the laptop or the projector
but when i connect it to the windows xp it does not display thru the
projector
It sys searching vga ,composite etc.
I know the projector is fine as it works well with vista on the same computer
How do i enable projector view on XP as i can do on vista by FN+F5 key

please advice

There are probably missing XP drivers or utilities. Check the OEM site.

We could suggest, or give links, but you didn't give your make and model
number of the laptop. Look for graphics card drivers, keyboard drivers,
and other mobo device drivers related to the projector ports. Utilities
might include software that would "enable projector view" when Fn/F5 is
depressed.

It came with windows vista installed
