When I click Install Updates for SP3, the Installing Updates window
says, "The updates are being downloaded and installed" and Installation
status displays, "Downloading Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)
(update 1 of 1) . . . " but the Downloading progress bar is blank and
nothing seems to happen. Restarting and trying again makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Charles

You should try now because I downloaded about 45 minutes ago and it
worked. Try these links:

Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT
Professionals and Developers:

Hope this helps.

Thanks--after I sent my message I tried again and just let it run, even
though no progress was indicated. After 5 or 10 minutes, the
Installation status message changed and after another 10 minutes or so
the green bars showed up. The installation seemed to go fine.
