Those same two choices, in the same order, appear in your 'Boot.INI' file,
and one is set to 'default', and a timeout of 30 seconds. These settings can
be edited.

Microsoft Windows XP Setup Remains in Boot.ini:

Hi Josh,

Right mouse click on the "My Computer" icon and choose "Properties" from the
drop-down menu.
A dialog box will appear saying "System Properties".
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Now click on the "Startup and Recovery" tab.
A "Startup and Recovery" dialog box comes up.
Untick the "Time to display list of operating systems" box.
Click "OK" and close any other windows.
Restart your PC and the options won't be there.

You could edit the bootup options but I don't really want to go into that
lol.

Hope this helps.
J
