I have just purchased a Microsoft Zune and each time I try to install the
software on my Windows Media Center PC, it does not work and causes a
variety of error messages. Does the Zune software work on a computer running
Windows Media Center?

Thanks in advance
Joe

Zune software should work fine on machines running Windows Media Center 2005
and newer.

If you're looking for Zune advice, I would suspect that the Zune forums at
zune.net are probably better than Windows Media Player-centric newsgroups.

You can use some video conversion software to make conversion from any
formats video to Zune, I made a few conversions to zune with Total
Video Converter (http://www.effectmatrix.com) , it works well

I need information on a Zune player not being able to be used in Vista. My
Zune was purchased in February this year and won't work on Vista at all. All
it gives me is a exclamation point. Is there any conversions from there?

You should probably follow up on the Zune.net forums or with Zune support,
both of which will be much better equipped to deal with Zune device
questions.

Where can I find this specific dowload. It never shows up when the Zune
prompts me to go to the update page. Is there somewhere else that I need to
go?

What is the file version of kernel32.dll on your system?
What is the file version of c:\windows\ehome\system32\ehshell.exe on your
system?
