Hello.
I recently bought a media center pc used from a friend of mine. The
computer originally had xp media center edition running on it. It now has a
fresh install of XP Professional on it. I want to do a system restore back
to media center xp; but it for some reason it won't let me. (says hit F10
during startup for system recovery, but hitting F10 does nothing). The
recovery partition is still there. Any ideas?

System Restore (which you can *not* do) and the OEM vendor's System
Recovery are two entirely different things.

How to do an OEM system recovery depends on what OEM is it. It's not a
Windows function, and not all OEMs do it the same way. Contact your
OEM for help on how to do it.
