When I view the files on a CD, all the files have a IE7 Webpage icon in front
of them, you can just see the real icons behind the IE7 icon.

Does anyone know how to remove these icons?

Thanks in advance.

A CD is usually read only, which prohibits the creation of a 'Thumbs.db'
file. If you copied them to a writable area, they could show the thumbnails.

Thanks anyway, but I managed to fix it.
All it needed was an Icon Cache Rebuild in TweakUI.

This quirk is a bug that Microsoft says it may never fix. It's caused by
selecting the option "Use Large Icons" (from right-click on Desktop,
Properties-Appearance-Effects). The workaround is to change the Large
Icon registry value to less than 48 (48 is the Large Size). Best
practice is a value of 46.

In the Registry:

========================
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]
"Shell Icon Size"="46"
========================
