Hello,

I'm trying to figure out why I might want to install the 64 bit version of
Vista. What would it give me? Ok, I'd be able to access more than 4gig of
RAM (which my motherboard doesn't support). Is it more solid and stable?
Would it be faster than the 32bit version? And where would I get the 64bit
version? Is it on the same DVD as my 32bit version of Vista? Could someone
convince me why I should care about a 64bit operating system?

Thanks,

Jeff

64 BIT is by far a faster OS than 32 BIT,however, most 64 bit systems
run on server platforms rather than desktop.Reason being, software
availability
for the general pc user running in 64 bit will be very limited on available
installation add-ons,for a server this isnt a issue.Plus the hardware must
support 64 bit.For alot more info,go
to:http://search.technet.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?query=32+BIT+vs+64+BIT+operating+systems&brand=technet&locale=en-us&refinement=
