My computer with XP crashed and I need to buy a new computer. I am thinking
of getting one with Vista. I am aware that all mircosoft programs would
operate on the new computer, but what about ITunes I have a 6 month old 4
gig Nano. How will that be effected. I have all my music saved on a Maxtor
external Drive. Will I be able to reinstate or will this be a problem?? I
don't have too many other programs except Norton Anit-Virus that is not
Microsoft. Any help would be appreciated. Also how difficult would it be to
purchase a new computer with XP?

Itunes works fine on Vista - my son says so.
My no.2 PC (Intel Pentium D) has Vista SP1 on it & no problem with Itunes.
I would go for Vista, it's not the horror story some people make out.

Make sure that you have vista drivers for any printers or scanners you have
attached to your computer.
Some XP drivers show they are vista compliant but a vista driver is better.
BTW Vista has a large number of printer drivers you can use.
