We had a severe thunderstorm pass overhead today! There was a lightning bolt
that struck very close to my house. The T.V. and the computer' screens were
both affected, the screens went to a multi-colored tye-dyed color. There was
no power outage and they are both on surge protectors; but I can't get my
computer screen to reset. I hope it (the lightning) didn't screw up my
screen. If there is anyone out there who knows how to fix the problem please
let me know? Thanks!

See if your monitor (I assume CRT) has a degauss control.

Ummm....A What? Where would I find that control thing? I only know enough
computer stuff to get on the internet and I have installed more memory but
that's about as technical as I get. So, would I go into the control panel
file for that. I am sorry. If I can't figure it out, I guess it doesn't
bother me that much!
