BSOD Error

Ok here goes, hopefully you all can help me sort this out becuase its
getting really annoying LOL

XP Pro SP2

BAD_POOL_CALLER 0X000000C2 0X00000007 0X00000CD4 0X0000003E 0X861C9008

I am getting this error after my system has been up for a few hours, I have
tried to localize it to a certain program and have been unsuccessful. I
happens at random times with random programs, if anyone can explain how I
can fix this error it would be greatly appreciated. I origonally thought it
was the RAM so I checked the RAM and after removing one of the sticks the
problem went away for about a week, now its back and I cant understand why.
I have all the latest drivers and BIOS.

This is a new system (Less then 3 months old)
If you want the system components just ask, he is the short and dirty:
1gig RAM, 250gig HD, ASUS SLI Mobo, AMD Athlon CPU, 8500GT SLI V-card, SB
Live S-card.

According to all the specs the parts are fully compatible with each other
and XP recognizes them all with the drivers

Trouble with your Virtual Memory paging file would imply trouble with your
hard drive. I would try Error Checking the drive. Rightclick the drive icon
in Explorer, Properties, Tools menu.
You might also try a defragmentation (system tools menu)

Tried this and no errors found, HD is sound and working perfect. Any other
ideas? Thanks for the attempt :-)

Isn't this error caused by a driver? A search for Bad Pool Caller shows
several likely causes and fixes.
Being a driver error results in random crashes which have nothing to do with
the program
that might be running.
