problem with application error

I've got a nagging ploblem with a wmiprvse.exe application error. It keeps
popping up saying
"the exception Illegal Instruction
An attempt as made to execute an illeagal instruction
(0xc000001d) occured in the applicationat location 0x0100c2c8

Click ok to terminate program
click CANCEL to debug the program


THIS THING IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. does anyone know how i can correct this
problem

Please find the Error Report in Event Viewer and post a complete copy.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer.Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.
