Whenever I click on Help / Contents and Index from Explorer the page displays
code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
etc. How can I turn this off?
Similarly, if I print anything from the web it prints pages and pages of code.

Check in Internet Options. Click on the last tab to the right. Scroll
down towards the bottom of that page. What you're looking for is a
section of options that refer to local content. HTML help files are
local content (they mostly reside on your hard drive). Security settings
need to be toggled to "allow" for some of these help files to display
and function properly.

No idea about the printing problem.
