Registry cleaners may (possibly) help boot time a little. They will not
speed up the computer's running. They will often remove Registry
information essential to the operation of a program of even Windows itself
and some won't even offer to back up the data first. Even when they do
offer a backup too many users do not bother or have no idea how to restore
it. They should only be used be professionals who understand the Registry
if at all.
