Well, WinDVD is a DVD player program for the DVD drive. I
appears, but I haven't checked online, but the "Dangle" may
be either a way to input or output video/audio to or from
another device. I know that S-Video may be output from many
video cards (the laptop I am currently using has an S-Video
output built in) and it also requires an audio output.
Recommend reading the documentation that came with the
laptop or going onto Gateway's web site and exploring to
find out what each port is used for.
Of course a 1 minute search on Gateway's site produced this
