When I go to Start, My Documents appear on the right side and lists all of
the folders in there for me to use. All of a sudden, when I go to Start -
they are not there. However, if I right click on My Documents and go to
Open - the folders are all there BUT they are a very pale yellow and do not
show when I double click My Docs. I use Windows XP Pro and IE 7.

How can I solve this problem? I like them attached this way to the Start
menu so that they are easily accessible - and would appreciate any help you
can give me.

Thanks so much!

Terri, try rt clicking the Start>select Properties>Start
Menu-Customize>Advanced>In the Start Menu window scroll down to MyDocuments
and click on Menu.

I have tried that many times but it only shows as a link.....I really am
frustrated as this was working and stopped recently.
Any other suggestions?

Terri, try this. Go to Start>Run type: regedit then Expand RegEditor
to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Rt click on Advanced Folder>select New>String Value>In rt pane type in
CascadeMyDocuments where it say's new value#1 which should be highlighted.
Then rt click CascadeMyDocuments and select Modify. Type in Yes in Data
Field.

Value Name: CascadeMyDocuments Thanks to Kelly's Korner.
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: "Yes" or "No"

Rich - it did not work! Have any other ideas? I am at my wits end - could
the folders be in the wrong place? Would that make a difference??

Thanks!
