Do you get any error messages, you say your PC cannot install what happens
when you try ?
Give details of what is happening and what OS you are using and people will
be able to help you, in the meantime I'll give you a list to have a look at
to see if you can find any help.

search your windows\system32 folder for wups2.dll
if its there then this should work
copy and paste just to make sure you have the syntax correct
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wups2.dll
if it still does not work try giving the complete path to the .dll
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\wups.dll (if this is your path)

I have Norton 360 and am trying to see if it
may be causing trouble. I visited one of the sites (first one ) and was
redirected to an update site I had already visited. I feel I am chasing my
tail Joan, but thanks.

Sorry you're still having problems and you've now mentioned Norton which in
a lot of peoples minds causes more problems than it's supposed to fix <g>

Did you try any of the other sites ?

Sorry I wont be able to help you further so I hope one of the other sites
