Hello Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that your inbound faxes via PDF
attachments of emails come from your VOIP provider, and you want to save
the attachments in companyweb and Public Folders and disk folder, like the
inbound faxes via SBS fax. If I have misunderstood the problem, please
don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, the SBS inbound faxes could be store in companyweb
and Public Folders and disk folder. You can run Fax Configuration Wizard to
achieve this. However, I want to explain that this function is achieve thru
the customize scripts for SBS fax. They are not suit for inbound emails.
1. As I know, we unable to deliver email to companyweb documents library.
2. To forward email to Public Folders is easy to achieve:
a. Open the Public Folders properties in ESM, select E-mail Addresses tab,
you can find the Public Folders email address.
b. Locate on the user which receive the inbound Fax email in ADUC, open the
properties, select Exchange General tab, click Delivery Options button
c. Select Forward to, click Modify button, input the Public Folder email
address, click Check Names, click OK.
d. Click OK twice.
Then all emails with PDF fax will forward to this Public Folders.
3. We also unable to store the email on disk folder. However, I have a
workaround for you:
a. Run the CEICW on SBS
b. At Internet E-mail page, select Enable Internet e-mail
c. At Remove E-mail Attachments page, add PDF to the attachment types list
d. Tick Save removed e-mail attachments in a folder, browse to the folder
you want to store the PDF fax.
e. Finish the wizard.
Then, all inbound PDF attachments will be remove from the email, and store
in disk folder.
Note: If you do this, you will not see the PDF attachments in Public
Folders.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu (MSFT)

| Hello,
| my VOIP provider will capture my faxes and then send them as PDF to a
| mailbox on my server, i need to setup this mailbox so that the attached
pdf
| gets put in the "incoming faxes" sharepoint document site AND that it
gets
| put in a public folder(this time the entire email can be done) AND that
the
| PDF file gets saved on a document folder.
| in short, i need that this incoming mail gets treated as a direct
incoming
| fax call.
| how can i do this?, i tried searching on how to add a mailbox to a
| sharepoint document library but haven't found anything, i also tried
finding
| about sharepoint and PF synchronization, but same thing...
|
| thanks in advance
