I have two existing customer services reps, rep1@domain.com and
rep2@domain.com. I would like to create a new mail address to be used on the
company website, customer.service@domain.com . Replies to this address would
then be routed to the two existing email accounts, i.e. rep1@domain.com and
rep2@domain.com. Is the easiest way to do this create a new user with an
address of customer.service@domain.com and then forward all mail to
rep1@domain.com and rep2@domain.com? Ideally I would like mail from sender
A - M to go to rep1 and N - Z to go to rep2, but I don't think there is
anyway to do this.
TIA

Create a new Distribution Group called customer.service (email the same
(ie default SMTP= customer.service@<you.com>, and probably *untick* the
automatically update based on recipient policy).

Put those two people in it.

Forgot to add, you could remove the Dist group from the GAL too if you
wanted to.

And thirdly! :) - re A-M and N-Z - not sure how you'd go about that.
You could route that based on a custom exchange sink event I suppose,
maybe it's easier to educate the reps :)

Duncan,
Thank you. Your explanation was perfect. The new mailbox is up and running.
