Hi,
Just wondering if these forums will be moving over to the new technet forums?
They've really done a good job with them.

Hi. This is usenet, not a forum - and as far as I know, Technet has a web
interface to the same groups. Most of us regulars, I'd wager, deplore the
web interface and favor a newsreader for the fastest/best means of access.

The following is from a post by MVP Malke ...

Here's information on Usenet and using a newsreader:

That is a sure Wager!

The clunky approach with logon credentials does not compare to the speed
of a News reader.

From what I can see, the only advantage of a forum is the abilty to
confirm a persons identity and lock out undesirables.

I think it does help curb spam, which is a Good Thing. But everything else
stinks in comparison.
