We are planning to switch from Symantec to Trend Micro CSM v. 3.5, but I
noticed that the documentation for CSM notes that the minimum OS
requirements for SBS are SBS2003 (R2). We are running SP1 on both Exchange
and Server 2003 on SBS. I am going to call Trend Micro support on Monday,
but I know that a lot of people in this newsgroup use CSM. Is the R2
version of SBS required, or will CSM 3.5 run on SP1?

Yes - You will be fine. The Latest Version is 3.6 Not 3.5 and will run un
SP1. I suggest you upgrade to free SP2 but R2 is not Necessary

And for a third opinion, yes, it works, why version 3.5? The current version
is 3.6, with 5.0 coming soon.

Be sure to ask for the competitive upgrade pricing. They LOVE to take people
away from Symantec.

Thanks to all! I'm pretty sure everything will be just fine. BTW, the
version I downloaded is indeed 3.6.
