Hmm...the https thing could be a good call, but I don't think I buy into =
it being a cert issue. My experience with Moto phones has been that a =
certificate issue will represent itself as a specific cert error =
(80010014 as I recall, but it has been awhile.) It doesn't throw =
username/password credential errors. =20

The 9c is a sprint phone, very nice, one of my customers has one.
Have you gone through the set up on the phone to connect to Exchange =
and tried "unchecking" the box for https:// requirement
If that works...then its still a cert issue on the device
