Lately we have been informed that a small amount of folks are having
their email bounced back by us. It is usually whole companies
(domains). I have half heartadly tried to remedy this until my wife
told me she no longer can send email to our domain and has ordered me
to fix it.

The bounceback message.

****** Message from InterScan Messaging Security Suite ******

The following mail could not be delivered.
Reason: Unable to deliver message to <brucef@emptybottle.com>.

I think that interscan is another word for Trend Micro SMB which we
have (version 3.6). But I think her company has it as well as it
seems their system bounced the message. Any ideas how I can track
this issue? Thanks in advance.

Well, better keep the wife happy. Have you tried whitelisting the domains
in question through the Interscan console?

Nope. Can you tell me how to whitelist their domains in the console.?

Trends term is Approved Senders List. Here is the Solution ID for hosted
Interscan, you did not state what version you had or if its hosted. If this
is not correct then search on your product for the solution.

You will need to add them in both places.

We only have Trend on our computers. Not hosted. We don't have
anyone listed in the "approved senders list". Why would it pick on my
wife? Just interested?

Could be a word in the email that is triggering the rejection. I would just
add her email address or @domain.com to see if it makes it through.
