That hotfix worked for me too. When I requested a copy recently for a
client, through the automated request and email system, I think I was sent a
link for the wrong hotfix. This has happened lately with a couple of
different SQL hotfixes. After I found my orginal copy of the hotfix and
installed from that, it was fixed on the client's system.
You might do better to call tech support. When you give them the KB article
number and explain that you have those symptoms, there's no charge.
