Hi Rick,

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. Can you explain further.

Hello Rick,

Thank you for posting here.

If you mean remote RDP connection, we can have only 2 remote RDP concurrent
connections on SBS. You can monitor it thru Terminal Services Manager
console:

SBS -> Start -> Administrative Tools -> Terminal Services Manager

I hope these will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Is this the same for users that want to come in to RDP to thier
desktop through SBS? If so, do I need to buy more TS licenses for more
users to access?

Costas

The 2 concurrent Terminal connections that Terence mentioned, are for
accessing the server. For your users to access their computers through RWW
there are no other licenses that are required other that the SBS CALs.

If your licensing mode is 'per user' and you have 10 CALs, your 10 users can
use RWW to access their desktops. No other licenses are required.

Hope that helps

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your update, and thank Costas for the input.

Costas is right, the 2 concurrent Terminal connections are for SBS. To
connect client computers thru RWW will not use the 2 concurrent Terminal
connections for SBS.

If you want to install terminal service in SBS network, please refer to the
following document:

For how to deploy Terminal Server on in SBS 2003 network, please refer to
the following document:
Deploying Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server to Host User Desktops in a
Windows Small Business Server 2003 Environment
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sbs/2003/deploy/adstrmsr.mspx

I hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu (MSFT)
