Hello All,

Hopefully I have come to the right area for this question.

I have been setting up Small Business Server 2003 R2 (updated to the max).
I had some issues with network Communications and an article I came across
suggested to disable the IP Network Translator from the Device Manager's non
plug and play devices. Since then, have been unable to even see it in the
device manager since. Is there a way to re-install the IP Network Translator
to device manager?

I have compared registries from another 2003 based server and there are
references to IpNat.sys, and the file is still on the SBS server in the
system32\DRIVERS\ directory.

Thanks for any ideas given in advance.

Any help here?

You receive a "System error 67 has occurred. The network name cannot be
found" error message in Windows Server 2003

I believe that this article was the one I followed and since then I have lost
the IP Network Translator.

Have you tried re-running CEICW?

Could you explain more? I can't say I've heard that term.

Sure...

Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard
(CEICW)
http://www.sbs-rocks.com/sbs2k3/sbs2k3-n2.htm

One of the many wizards in SBS.

If you simply disabled it (and didn't uninstall it) then you should be able
to reenable it the same way. Have you set "Show hidden devices" in your
DevMan view?

Yes I have and unfortunately it appears as if it was uninstalled and not
disabled...

I tried re-running the wizard and it has not made any difference, and thanks
for explaining the acronym... That is the in IT, there can be too many
acronyms to attempt to remember (heh).
