Hi Chaps,
If i have a Distribution Group called say Sales@*****.com
which then goes into 2 users outlook 2007 mailboxes can i make the reply out
so it says its sent from Sales@*****.com instead of there name say
john@*****.com and terry@.****.com

Grant them Send As rights on the list and show them how to use the From
field in a new message or reply. You can't automate that.

Alternatively, set up Sales as a shared mailbox instead - give John & Terry
"full mailbox access" as well as "Send As" rights. That way, they can open
it as a secondary mailbox in Outlook, all inbound mail stays in one mailbox
and they can just hit Reply to have the reply come from Sales. If you want
their sent items to all stay in Sales too, check out www.ivasoft.biz

Do i use the mailbox i have set up as sales in distribution? How do i give
them rights. I must be in the wrong area at the moment...

No, you'd get rid of the sales@ distribution group.

Full mailbox rights are set in Exchange Advanced
Send As rights are set in the security tab (open ADUC, view | advanced
options, to enable this)
