When I set up a client SBS 2003 I used the IP range of 192.168.1.1 -
192.168.1.252

Giving the Server a fixed IP address of 192.168.1.2

The router has an IP address of 192.168.1.254

I have DHCP enabled on the server where the clients get their IP
address from.

Having set up remote access for several users, they cannot connect to
the server. This is because their hope ISP router uses the same IP
range.

How easy is it to change the range of the Server from 192.168.1.1 -
192.168.1.252 to something like 10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.254

Regards

Trevor

Use the change IP wizard. I wouldn't change to a 10.0.0.x but maybe
something like 192.168.200.x which is unlikely to conflict with any home
router.

Thanks for your reply. Will have a think about what range to use.

Do I need to change the router's IP address to be in the same range,
or is it ok still being 192.168.1.254

Regards

Trevor

Yes the router must be changed.
