I have a pc that i just got from dell. The problem is that when I log
into the server 2003 server I am unable to save files anywhere other
than "my documents". If i log in as local admin i can save or change
files anywhere on the c: drive.

The profile that will be using this pc is currently allowed to create,
edit, and save files anywhere on the pc and so are the other 30
computers in the network. I verified this by creating a txt document
on the root c directory successfully while logged in as that profile.

I configured the server and the security permissions which do not
disallow anything regarding where files can be created or modified.
None of the other pc's have this problem. We use an erp software that
needs access to sme files in its install directory on the c drive but
obviously am not allowed to make changes here so I am unable to run
our software.
