I do not like to make assumptions, so I thought I'd pose the question
I am receiving the following
Event Type: Warning

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NTDS General
Event Category: Service Control
Event ID: 1539
Date: 12/05/2008
Time: 9:22:29 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER
Description:
The local domain controller could not disable the software-based disk write
cache on the following hard disk.
Hard disk:
c:
Data might be lost during system failures
This logical drive contains two SCSI Mirrored drives, configured with
Write Cache: Enabled (write-back) when protected by battery
Read Cache: Enabled
Is this just a case of disabling the cache gets rid of the message, but
causes a downgrade in performance -- so simply just ignore the warning?
