mobile access question

i have a hp2110/2115 and a wireless cf module. when traveling is
there a way to connect to a cat 5 connection and gain online access?

Yes, just bring along a wireless router and plug the cat 5 into it.

The little access points are options, and usable with other laptops, etc.
There are CF wired ethernet cards though.

They do work well. I still have mine from the early days, before WiFi ;). I
even still have a CF direct connect modem.

Thing is, if you already have the CF WiFi card, you could pay just a little
more for the AP, or a little less depending on what wired CF card you find.

That looks a lot like my Netgear WGR 101, except switch position 4
does nothing on my Netgear. Other companies make similar products:
