I am desperately looking for the original installation disk (or a copy) for
my used Jornada 520 which I just bought sans software or cradle. I very much
have to have these disk to get any use out of this machine.
I am also looking for a cradle to go with it. If your machine has died or you
just no longer need these items please email me. Thanks. :-}

In general, everything on the disk other than Outlook can be
downloaded... Outlook is proprietary so you will have to find a source
for it... even if you get a CD, it won't install without a key which was
a separate document. (note, by default, OE won't sync)

http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/syncsoft/activesync for the sync
software... what is your desktop os? That will be a factor in ASync
version.

While we wish you luck, we assume you know how old that device is and
that software availability is limited... as well as it's ram... 16megs.

The 520 was a strange bird that can only sync with usb where the
majority of 5xx cradles out there are probably serial.

I have a usb cradle... price, send me a postage paid self addressed
padded envelope;

If the address is outside of the usa, include a filled out usa customs form.

Can you estimate the weight of the package so I can try to put enough postage
on the envelope or would you prefer I send some cash and let you pay for the
proper postage on your end?

Good point... this one has a weighted base and is 12oz, so, postage for
1 pound should be more than enough.

Since this is a freebie, for me it's easiest to simply stuff the cradle
in a prepared envelope and shuffle down to the mailbox rather than go
buy postage, fill out the address, etc, which are time consuming.

Suggest a 9"x11.5" or larger tyvek envelope, I'll provide the bubble wrap.

That sounds good. I'll pay for 1lb of postage and if it takes more I will
gladly pay for it. I will send a padded self address postage paid envelope
when I get to the post office on Monday. Very much appreciate your
generosity.

Package including prepaid envelope will be picked up by post carrier tomorrow
will probably take 4-5 days to get to you. Had to get a bubble envelope
since P.O. didn't have a padded envelope in the right size. Hope that will
work.
