Hi,

I just got a HTC Touch Cruise a couple of months ago and everything
was working fine until one day My messaging client stopped working. It
simply wouldn't respond to any of the shortcuts I had pointing to it.
That means outlook/mms/sms functions seized to work. I performed a
"Clear Storage" via Windows Mobile 6 and it fixed it but I had to
reset everything...

A week later the same thing happened and the only way to get it to
work was yet another reset.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
T

Have you installed any third party applications that might be
interfering with the default Messaging app?

Download SK Tools from Http://s-k-tools.com.

Run it on your device to remove temp and corrupted files.

Hi Linely,

Maybe... the only thing I installed was Google Maps 2.0.

Thanks for the link!

Did Installing this tool help with your problem? I'm having the same problem
and I have installed the SK tools and ran the clean function but no luck yet.

I wrote a program that would automatically send an SMS in response to
incoming call.
It works perfectly fine on HP PDA phone but not on HTC Touch Cruise.
It simply refuses to send out the SMS. Any HTC Touch Cruise developer
also facing the same problem too?
