Do you mean like Transcriber, that is supplied with the device or after the
fact, like ICR (intelligent character recognition)?

Ken,

The transcriber is part of the input method, I my Tilt if I click on the up
arrow next to the keyboard I get a drop down menu with -options, Block
Recognizer, Keyboard, Letter Recognizer,Symbol Pad, and Transcriber. You can
also find the settings by going to start>settings>input and click on the
down arrow next to input method to find it. This is quoted from the help
file " Because Transcriber works transparently in the background of programs
that accept user input, you must have one of these programs open to use
Transcriber." i.e. Word Mobile.

To their credit, most of the cellular companies post the pdf versions of the
manuals for free download. I find it easier to download someone's manual for
a phone I don't own, then do a search. It's usually faster than waiting for
the owner to find his manual which he hasn't read.
